The programs strengthen one another: community experience creates operational knowledge, HORECA recovery expands the model to businesses, organic recovery adds a new material stream, and the Circular Resource Center becomes supporting infrastructure. WasteLoop is the broader circular resource model connecting these components.
Organic waste should become a resource.
Our next major program focuses on HORECA organic waste. The initial model is intentionally simple: collect, transport, process and produce compost.
Small, manageable collection bins
Organic waste is placed in practical 20-liter reused paint buckets to keep individual containers manageable for staff and collectors.
Dedicated transport
A pickup-box vehicle can collect higher volumes efficiently and serve multiple HORECA locations on scheduled routes.
Simple local composting
A low-cost composting setup can be built using practical materials and adapted to the available processing site.
Compost as a useful resource
The final output is intended to return organic nutrients to productive use rather than ending as disposal waste.
Project status: This is a proposed project concept. Targets and operating assumptions should be updated as the pilot is implemented.
