Common questions

Things companies usually ask

Can we pay in installments rather than upfront? +
Yes — we can accommodate semi-annual payments (50% at start, 50% at month 6) for Tier 2 and above. Please discuss this during the initial conversation so it can be written into the MOU.
Do you issue a formal receipt or invoice? +
Yes. BSU Mandiri will issue a formal receipt (kuitansi) and can provide a letter of acknowledgement on organizational letterhead. For larger amounts, a formal handover document (Berita Acara) can also be arranged.
Can we specify which program our funds go toward? +
Principal Patron partners (Tier 3) can direct their funds toward a specific initiative — such as expanding the maggot cultivation unit, procuring additional compost bins, or funding the education program. This is agreed during the program co-design phase.
Is employee volunteering available this year? +
Not yet — and we are honest about this. BSU Mandiri currently operates without a dedicated facility, making in-person volunteering difficult to manage safely. We expect a proper operational space by 2026. In the meantime, virtual community visits and co-branded education events are strong alternatives.
Can we use the impact data in our own sustainability report? +
Yes — all verified data from BSU Mandiri's quarterly reports may be cited in your sustainability or CSR report, provided you attribute it to BSU Mandiri and do not modify the underlying figures. We can also provide a supporting letter for auditor purposes.
How is BSU Mandiri institutionally structured? +
BSU Mandiri operates as a registered community-based environmental initiative under local administrative recognition in Sukabumi, with formal documentation available for due diligence review.
